Bob Stewart MP has spent a day at Bromley ambulance station to meet with staff there to see the work they carry out when responding to emergency calls.
He was given a full tour of the station, before going out on the road with an ambulance crew.
Mr Stewart joined emergency medical technician Tony Scantlebury and paramedic Rod Bryant on their shift where he attended two road traffic accidents.
Mr Stewart said: "What most impressed me was the fantastic commitment and kindness which was displayed by members of Bromley ambulance station. It was a real priviledge to go out with Tony and Rod in their ambulance and I learnt an incredible amount about the courageous work carried out by the Bromley ambulance service."
