Bob Stewart MP has today visited the Beckenham Beacon hospital, where he was joined by the Chairman of Bromley PCT Elizabeth Butler to discuss health issues in the Beckenham constituency. After the meeting Bob was given a tour of the Beacon by Andrew Hardman from Bromley PCT to see the wide range of NHS medical services on offer to patients.
Following the visit Bob said 'I was very pleased to meet with Elizabeth Butler who raised a number of issues concerning healthcare provision in Bromley. The Beckenham Beacon houses GP surgeries together with a range of other NHS healthcare services. This reduces time between appointments for patients which I welcome. I hope this is a model for the future and I'm pleased the Coalition Government will continue to invest in Healthcare nationally'.
