I am very sorry that seven innocent people were murdered last night on and near London Bridge and my heart goes out to all the families who lost someone. The men that were responsible are utter scum. Within 8 minutes from the first 999 call all three were shot dead by our great police force.
I arrived back in Gatwick from my mother-in-law’s funeral at 0730hrs this morning and, after a brief pit-stop for breakfast with Robert Straker and other friends in Renzi Yildrim’s Moonlight Café on Croydon Road, I went directly to the West Wickham Conservative Street Stall in the High Street the
Very sadly my mother-in-law, Anne-Marie Podbielski, was taken ill and died in the early hours of Tuesday 30th May. In order to pay my last respects and attend her funeral I will therefore be away in Geneva, Switzerland, today and tomorrow.
