Bob Stewart MP visited Bromley College this week to speak to students enrolled on the Public Service course. Bob also took time to meet with the College's new Principal Sam Parrett to discuss issues around further education funding.
Following the meeting Bob said "It was a pleasure to meet with Mrs Parrett and and hear about the vision and ethos for Bromley College. I'm confident the College will benefit enormously from her educational experience and determination to provide a first-class education for every student."
Bob was given a tour of the newly renovated campus in Rookery Lane, before being invited to speak to the Public Service students about his role as an MP. Bob told them: "Listening to people is a very important part of the job. Commanding a battalion was the most thrilling, difficult and dangerous thing I have ever done – but being an MP is the greatest privilege in my life.""
